Theater Series

Theater Series is one of several designs that came about during the pandemic of 2020. Movie going is a favorite immersive experience and the shuttering of so many public places, especially where crowds were involved meant no big cinema. Evoking the nostalgia of movies as a kid, the Theater Series harkens back to pre-LED theater wayfinding lights. Imbedded in stairs and walls, small louvered grills emanated just enough light in a dark cinema to get you safely to and from your seat while the reels were running. Using the flexibility of wood veneers the Theater lighting series channels a scaled up version of those miniature fixtures into bold sconce and pendant forms.
